Jack is very excited about the twins coming. Unlike Ben, he actually gets it. Often he offers to help when the twins arrive. Like offering to feed them. When he sees me dozing on the couch he’ll turn off the lights and tell me to rest, that he, Ben and Papa will go upstairs.

Recently he asked how they were coming out of my belly. I showed him the cesarean scar that he came out of, and explained that Ben came out of a hole down below. And that hopefully the twins will also come out of that hole but I won’t know until it happens. Not exactly the technical explanation, but good enough for a 5 year old, right?
